Bush like Hitler, says first Muslim in Congress
Addressing a gathering of atheists in his home state of Minnesota, Keith Ellison, a Democrat, compared the 9/11 atrocities to the destruction of the Reichstag, the German parliament, in 1933. This was probably burned down by the Nazis in order to justify Hitler’s later seizure of emergency powers. “It’s almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that,” Mr Ellison said. “After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted.”
It sounds to me that America’s government officials cannot see the real from fantasy. I do not agree with all Bush’s decisions, but he is not Adolf Hitler. This is an insult to the millions who died in WWII. Senator, be a leader and stop your fanatical speech. Be responsible and see truth and reality. I believe Bush really wants good things for this nation as well as others. We are fighting Muslim enemies that want to kill Americans, all ethnic groups, genders, etc. These Jihadists look to you and you fuel them with more support for what they are doing. I am in the USAF and I know by brothers and sisters in the armed forces see what you say and consider you a traitor to America for saying things that are off the wall. Freedom brings responsibility. It is not free. You must be level-headed about what you say. You sought the leadership of this nation. Stop giving aid and comfort to the enemy in the middle of a war. Be a leader!
