Tim is right. Everyone seems to want “unity” at the expense of “truth”. However, the Bible says very little about “unity”, and much more about holding fast to sound doctrine. Without sound doctrine, there can be no real unity.

Agreed, Puritan. It was a real shocker to me and many in the Church when Warren made the decision. We looked at each other like: “wha happened?”
But that’s the nature of being in the spotlight. Warren looked around and was prolly like: “Dude, I guess I have to meet with Piper now for some market expansion.”
And its like: Rick. Your books are selling fine already. Why jeopardize the truth quotient for whatever reason it was? “Unity”….”Common Love Of Christ”….?
